BlackBerry smartphone users will be able to receive the latest headlines, news articles, feature columns, and editorials directly on their handset.
Developed by Polar Mobile and fully branded for Maclean’s and Canadian Business, the mobile applications named Maclean’s Mobile and Canadian Business Mobile respectively, will be absolutely free and can be quickly downloaded and installed over the air.
As part of the Smart Solution, the mobile applications will allow users to access content much faster than browsing through traditional mobile websites. Content is automatically delivered and stored to a user’s BlackBerry smartphone allowing them to access the content in an easy-to-read fashion, anytime and anywhere – even if without wireless coverage, such as on a subway or plane.
