Michael Russo to lead talk on HTTP Live Streaming for iPhone at Bell Sponsored Event

November 17, 2009 (Toronto, ON) – Polar Mobile (www.polarmobile.com) CTO, Michael Russo, will be speaking at the 2009 Vancouver iPhone Forum on November 24. The session entitled Innovating with HTTP Live Streaming will explore Apple’s new technology which enables streaming of both live and pre-recorded high-quality video. The forum is to be held at the downtown campus of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and is presented by CBC Radio-Canada, New Media BC, and BCIT.
Michael Russo, CTO of Polar Mobile, will be leading a presentation on the architecture of Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming technology, and will cap off the session by building an application on stage that allows iPhone users to stream the video recently recorded on their device to other iPhone and Touch users.
