Polar Mobile CTO to present on BlackBerry Push Service at BlackBerry Developer Conference

Leading mobile solutions provider experiences tremendous success with BlackBerry platform for major media customers

November 11, 2009 (New York, NY) – Polar Mobile (www.polarmobile.com) CTO, Michael Russo, will be speaking at the 2009 BlackBerry Developer Conference in San Francisco today. The session entitled BlackBerry Push Infrastructure at Work: Introduction to the BlackBerry Push API will explore the technology, its architecture, value proposition, and a detailed account of how this API can be used to develop push-based applications.

“Polar Mobile is excited about the BlackBerry Push Service in the development of our mobile products,” said Kunal Gupta, CEO of Polar Mobile. “The service allows us to deliver up-to-the minute breaking news, scores, and market data to BlackBerry users on behalf of our customers.”

Michael Russo, CTO of Polar Mobile, will be joining Mario Pereira-Bernardino, Technical Product Manager of Platform Product Management for Research In Motion and Pratik Sapra, Application Development Specialist for Research In Motion in this discussion. Developers in attendance will discover the benefits of the BlackBerry® Push Service such as cost savings, reduced network latency, and increased efficiency in managing applications, as well as gain valuable information on how to request access to the service.
